Mr Deepak Parekh, Non-Executive Chairman, IDFC Ltd
Born in 1944, Deepak Parekh is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants - England & Wales. He has been at the financial helm of Corporate Inc. and with effect from 1st January,2010 is the Chairman of lndia's pioneer housing-finance institution, HDFC Ltd. in a Non-Executive capacity. Besides HDFC Group Companies, Mr. Parekh is on the board of several leading corporations across diverse sectors. He is the Non-Executive Chairman of GlaxoSmithkline Pharmaceuticals, Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC), Lafarge India and Seimens India Ltd. He is also on the Indian boards of Castrol BP India, Hindustan Unilever, Mahindra & Mahindra, Indian Hotels Company Limited and international boards of Singtel (Singapore) and WNS (USA).

Dr Kirit S Parikh, Chairman, Integrated Research & Action for Development (IRADe) & Former Member - Planning Commission, Government of India Dr Kirit S Parikh has a Doctor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Economics from MIT, USA. He has been a Professor of Economics since 1967. He was the Chairman of the Integrated Energy Policy Committee, Planning Commission. Dr Parikh was a Member of the Economic Advisory Council (EAC) of the Prime Ministers of India, Atal Behari Vajpayee, P.V. Narasimha Rao, Chandra Shekhar, V.P.Singh and Rajiv Gandhi. In the past he had also been a member of the National Committee for Environmental Planning & Co-ordination, the National Committee on Science and Technology and the Fuel Policy Committee.

Prof Ranjit Mitra, Director, School of Planning and Architecture Graduated in architecture from Jadavpur University Kolkata in 1971 and urban design from School of Planning & Architecture (SPA) New Delhi , Presently Director SPA and member of the faculty of the Department of Urban Design since joining in 1990. Serve as member on several National Committees and Boards both academic and professional concerning areas of Design, Planning, Environment, Archeology, Culture etc. Designed and executed several architectural, urban design, planning & conservation projects mainly in several parts of India and worked on the new Capital City project in Tanzania during its initial stages of planning and development.

Rajeeva Ratna Shah, Former Member Secretary, Planning Commission Mr Rajeeva Ratna Shah is responsible for the conceptualization, structuring, funding and implementation of Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM). He has also been instrumental in conceptualization of Backward Regions Grant Fund (BRGF). Mr Shah has also coordinated the Plan of Action for hosting Commonwealth Games in Delhi and developing Mumbai city into an international financial hub. He also chaired the Sub Group set up by the PMO under Committee on Information, Communication and Entertainment (ICE).

S S Kohli, Chairman & Managing Director, India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) Mr S S Kohli is Chairman & Managing Director of IIFCL since March 2006. He is Chairman of IIFC (UK) Ltd also which is a wholly owned subsidiary of IIFCL. Mr Kohli is also on the Board of IDFC. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Benaras Hindu University, Mr Kohli also holds a Diploma in Industrial Finance from Indian Institute of Bankers. During his varied assignments, Mr Kohli held Chairmanship of Indian Banks Association for two terms and chaired several committees associated with Financial Sector Policies.
